Nothing makes a wedding stand out more than beautiful blooming flowers. With so many different varieties and colors, there’s really no excuse for skipping these beauties at your wedding celebration. In fact, we’re going to share with you eight easy ways to integrate these gorgeous blooms into your wedding ceremony.
1- Bouquets
One of the most common areas where you’ll see flowers utilized in a wedding is in the bouquets. The bride’s bouquet will set the tone for the variety of wedding flowers. It should contain more blooms and variety than either the Maid of Honor’s bouquet or the bouquets of the bridesmaids. You’ll want the latter two bouquets to be smaller in size and contain fewer blooms.
2- Floral Wall
It’s commonplace for modern-day weddings to include an accent wall where pictures can be easily taken of your guests. Using a floral tone, you can easily decorate a beautiful-looking wall that will draw the attention of your guests and provide the perfect backdrop for amazing wedding photos. Make sure to include a lot of earthy greens to help offset any extravagantly colored blooms.
3- Centerpieces
Another must-do when it comes to wedding decorating with flowers is the centerpiece. While it’s customary to have centerpieces on all of the tables for your wedding party, you don’t have to stop there. Consider adding beautiful centerpieces for all of the tables that your guests will be sitting at to bring more color to your venue.
4- Table Decor
It’s become a norm to include a table of past photos of the happy couple throughout their pre-married relationship. Flowers can provide a nice hit of color to help break up the photos into individual viewing palates. They can even be used on other tables, such as a nametag table or cake table.
5- Confetti
Most people are familiar with guests throwing rice to celebrate the happy couple after they’ve been officially hitched. However, rice isn’t the nicest item to have all through your hair and in your clothing. Flower confetti, on the other hand, can provide a great alternative that will smell and look amazing.
6- Floating Flowers
If you really want to create a unique experience for your big day, then don’t forget to add those flowers to the water features at the venue. Whether it be a small fountain or pond, adding a pop of fresh petals to the water can create an extraordinary floating canvas that will be sure to catch your eye.
7- Aisle Markers
Another great way to utilize flowers to make your wedding stand out is to put them as aisle markers for your ceremony seating. This will not only create a nice pop of color for your guests as they’re seated and waiting for the ceremony to start, but it also allows you to create a clearly defined aisle. You’ll love having the flowers as a backdrop for your photos.
8- Arched Trellis
One beautiful addition to any spring wedding is a flowered covered arched trellis. This can be the centerpiece of your ceremony and how to draw the eyes of your guests into what’s going on. Be sure to choose colors that accent your bridal party’s colors.
