In 2018, the state of Colorado achieved Marijuana sales totalling $1,410,946,626
There are no two ways about it, the marijuana industry has entered the mainstream and in 2019 some more states in America and a few nations around the world might also legalize recreational use or at least to some extent, medical marijuana and cannabis derivatives.
Today, we are in conversation with Anthony Franciosi, the founder of Honest Marijuana Company. Honest Marijuana Company utilizes all-natural cultivation methods to produce only the finest organic and eco-conscious cannabis products. Their marijuana is also packaged in Earth-friendly recyclable tin cans with pure nitrogen to ensure only the highest level of integrity and quality.
Give us a bit of personal background
I am Anthony Franciosi, the founder and head grower of Honest Marijuana Company. https://honestmarijuana.com/

Honest Marijuana Company Nano-Sized THC Capsules
Tell us more about your product
The product is a dissolvable THC or CBD (or a combination of both) powder in which the molecules are small enough to enter into your bloodstream very quickly. The molecules are also totally soluble–when you put them into your drink or in a glass of water, they are 100% soluble and extremely fast-acting. It will take 1-3 minutes to feel the full effect. It is a very clean way to consume marijuana, because it is derived from an organic product. We’re stripping it down and you’re getting those active ingredients in a really, really effective dosage that works very quickly. It also doesn’t have any sugar or calories associated with eating cannabis infused brownies, candy, or any other edible for the most part. That is really the goal: to have a really clean and effective delivery mechanism for people to take their medicine and do it discreetly.
What problem in the market are you trying to solve with your product?
We’re just trying to give people something that is really accurate, fast-acting, and 100% dissolvable. It is such a smaller particle size, that the THC or CBD is broken down into a nano size so that the full effect can be felt within minutes rather than hours or whatever else. This also helps eliminate the “come-up effect” that a lot of edibles have, where you might feel that you didn’t take enough at first (or you took too much), and you take more because you’re waiting on this effect that can take a lot of time. On the other hand, you will know if you took the right amount right away with our powder. It’s better that way and there is also no scent to it. It’s really clean and totally dissolvable. It is the most efficient delivery mechanism we could come up with.
How is your product different from those of the established players in your market?
We have a smaller sized molecule. The molecules have been broken down into a smaller particle size so that it is more effective in its delivery.
Do you think you can overtake your competition?
I hope we can overtake our competition! The hope is that we would be able to compete because consumers would have a cleaner mechanism and one that works faster and quicker. I don’t know if we can overtake the competition but I think we can certainly compete.
How does your product make you money?
Right now it doesn’t make us any money, because we haven’t launched it yet. It will make us money because we are able to use some of the highest quality flower that is usually consumed in that format. When we’re making these types of products, we can strip off the different active ingredients that are by-products of growing, such as trim and smaller buds. We can increase our margin because this type of technology allows us to increase the value of those items that typically don’t bring back a lot of money.
Where do you see yourself and your product in the next 5 years?
Hopefully, we will be able to use this technology and leverage what we already know to market it in other states and potentially countries as the legal market gains traction.
Do you have any advice for new entrepreneurs?
Don’t borrow money! (laughs) I’m also still taking advice myself.
